Creating Myths, Legends, and Fairytales (2-6) - Session 1 with Shane Peterson

In this week-long camp, students will learn about some of the oldest stories in human history and how much these myths, legends, and fairy tales continue to influence storytelling today. We will read and even reenact select myths/legends—from Greek mythology to African folktales to Grimm’s fairy tales—before writing and sharing new stories of our own creation.
DIY Zine Making (Grades 7-12) - with Amber Sapper

Students will learn all about zines! Zines are a popular way for artists to share their work, inspiration, and interests to their audiences. Students will learn about the history of zines and create their own!

Intro to Electronic Music Production (Grades 7-12) - with Jason Mullinax

During this week-long camp, students will gain an understanding of basic electronic music production, including learning vocab, inputting and arranging sounds in computer programs, and different types of workstations. By the end of the week, students will create a composition to present to their peers.
Magical Theatre: Harry Potter and other Fantasy (Grades 2-6) - with Dr. Lulu Boykin

In this week-long camp, students will learn about fantasy in theatre! Throughout the week, students will practice with themes, sound, play content, and other drama skills. By the end of the week, students will produce, rehearse, and perform mini-plays to present to their peers.
No Thank You, Evil! A Tabletop Roleplaying Collaborative Experience (Grades 2-6) - Session 1 with Noah Basil

Over the course of this class we will create characters and play an adventure in the "No Thank You, Evil!" roleplaying system while slowly bringing Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition rules into the mix. The Tabletop RPG is a collaborative storytelling experience guided by the teacher but contributed to by the class. By the time the class is done we will have created a story that everyone has had a hand in.
Shadow Puppetry (2-6) - Session B with River Hedgepeth

Discover the magical world of shadow puppetry! Campers will learn to manipulate shadows and light with their bodies and their own puppet creations. They will craft a story, puppets, and props for a short performance that they will present at the end of the week.

Shakespearean Comedy: Finding the Funny in Shakespeare's Folio (Grades 7-12) - A with Grace Siplon

Shakespeare was a funny guy! Don’t let one English class fool you. In this camp, we will explore some of Shakespeare’s greatest cinematic scenes and monologues. Together we will learn how to understand Shakespeare’s comedy and communicate it to an audience. We’ll learn a lot and have a great time while doing it!
Stories Around the (Small) World (After All!) (Grades K-2) - AM with Maria P and Mirna F

During this week-long course, Little Campers will create art from around the world! Students will create art with mixed media, collage, painting, drawing, games, and movement exercises.
